Job Description

An independent government body is looking to recruit an Administrative Officer to facilitate the smooth operation of a range of administrative functions, acting as first point of contact for queries and contributing to financial and HR deliverables.

Key Responsibilities of the Administrative Officer:

  • Provide finance administration support to the Operations Manager, processing purchase orders and credit card expenses alongside other duties.
  • Manage telephone and email enquiries.
  • Contribute to the HR function, including recruitment and on-boarding responsibilities.
  • Organise business meetings and annual training for staff, including booking venues and preparing for conferences.
  • Order IT equipment and stationery.
  • Provide executive support to senior management as required, including diary management and booking travel.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience within a fast-paced administrative environment, including use of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Strong IT and organisational skills.

Salary and Details:

  • c£25,500 per annum.
  • Full time, permanent position.
  • Based in Central London office, with remote working provision.
