This high-profile public body is looking to recruit an Events Administrator to support the delivery of a key programme of conferences and events.
Key Responsibilities of the Events Administrator role:
- Act as first point of contact for queries regarding events, providing accurate responses and first-class customer service.
- Set up online events on the designated platform, communicating log-in details and any other technical details to speakers.
- Prepare and distribute delegate badges and events materials.
- Report on the success of events to monitor the performance of the department.
- Contribute to the success of events by undertaking on-the-day responsibilities.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience.
- Experience of working in a busy administrative environment, contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Events experience an advantage, including use of online platforms.
- Excellent written communication, customer service, and time management skills.
- Attentive to detail and personable.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency with the use of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Salary and Further Details:
- £27,500 pro rata.
- Full-time role.
- Interim contract due to start from the end of September and lasting until mid-December, with the potential to become permanent.
- Based in central London, with remote-working provision for part of the week.
