This creative arts-related education institution, based in central London, are looking to recruit a part time Facilities Assistant to act as the first point of contact for staff and student needs, ensuring excellent customer service and overseeing the safety of the organisation's buildings.
You will have proven experience working in a standalone facilities management-related role, undertaking basic maintenance tasks on a proactive basis. Excellent interpersonal skills will be a key part of this role, as will the ability to inspire confidence that issues raised by students will be completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
The successful candidate will be a team-player, able to offer flexibility to work different patterns from week to week.
This is a temporary, part time role with particular responsibility for the buildings during evenings and weekends, working approximately 15-20 hrs on a shift basis with other facilities colleagues. There may also be opportunity for a longer-term engagement for the right candidate.
