Job Description

A non-profit body is looking to recruit a HR Officer to provide effective support to the organisation’s HR processes. This is largely a generalist role, which involves dealing with employment related queries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement HR practice ensuring that all HR processes comply with employment legislation.
  • Make recommendations to policy development and improvement of HR processes.
  • Act as a point of contact for all enquires, offering support and guidance to a range of staff.
  • Assist in providing an inclusive recruitment service.
  • Help to prepare and implement training to various teams and committees.
  • Contribute towards the development of the monthly newsletter.
  • Support the implementation of several procedures, such as sickness and absence, disciplinary and redundancy.
  • Ensue accurate data management.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to degree standard, or equivalent.
  • CIPD qualified or the equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and best HR practice.
  • Proven ability of designing and delivering training modules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office applications.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload under pressure.

 

Salary and Benefits:

  • c£26,000 - £29,000 per annum
