Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity based at an organisation that helps membership bodies get the best deals for their members. The post-holder will be responsible for supporting the MD and his EA whilst being the linchpin in the office for projects, facilities, finance, contractors and events.

Key responsibilities for the Office Manager:

  • Credit control and responding to finance related queries
  • Taking minutes at internal meetings
  • Ad-hoc Project work 
  • Arranging team & client events 
  • Fielding and dealing with telephone enquiries
  • Arranging travel
  • Being H&S representative - as required e.g. periodic reviews, updating policies etc
  • Assisting with recruitment, inductions, holidays/sickness record-keeping
  • Utilities - review, renew and be first point if contact
  • Purchasing stationery and office supplies

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • You should be a team player with a flexible, sociable and positive nature - a sense of humour is required
  • Word/Excel Outlook - intermediate to advanced level
  • 60 wpm typing speed
  • Experience with Xero would be advantageous
  • Experience of working as part of a team in a similar role collectively working towards a common goal

Please note that this role could start immediately for the right person. Hours are 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
