This independent government body, based in central London, is looking to recruit a Senior Content Editor to optimise their digital content, shaping the strategies behind providing specialist guidance to the public in improved ways.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Content Editor:
- Lead on the creation and shaping of a new digital service, improving the delivery and accessibility of the organisation’s content offering advice to the public.
- Continually review the organisation’s content to meet the needs of users and influence decision makers to make key user journey improvements.
- Collaborate with project partners on the wider website redevelopment project, taking ownership of the content workstream.
- Provide strategic advice to senior leaders on the creation and management of content, overseeing content life-cycles and advising on improving processes.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard or with equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrable experience of success working in a lead or senior content designer role, ideally for public sector audiences.
- Experience of implementing CMS for websites and of creating high-quality content, with a focus on using data to improve user experience.
- Outstanding writing and interpersonal skills, with strong knowledge of content design principles.
- IT proficiency, including the use of MS Office and Google Analytics.
- Attentive to detail.
Salary and Details:
- c£58,000 per annum.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Central London-based, with the ability to work remotely for 3 days/week.
